About the team and the role:

The Product & Technology organization includes around 40 engineers, designers, product managers, and specialists working together to build the future of second-hand shopping. As a Senior Web Platform Engineer, you'll join the Core team, which builds and maintains the shared web foundations behind Tise's product experiences. Reporting within the Product & Technology organization, you'll help shape the architecture, tooling, and reusable platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to deliver consistent, reliable, and scalable web experiences as both the product and engineering organization continue to grow.
What you will accomplish:
Build and evolve the shared web platform using React and TypeScript to support scalable, reliable product development.
Partner with engineering teams to identify common challenges and develop reusable platform capabilities that improve consistency and delivery across the organization.
Drive improvements to web platform architecture, frontend standards, and shared engineering practices.
Enhance developer experience through improvements to build tooling, CI workflows, and engineering infrastructure.
Improve platform performance, accessibility, testing infrastructure, and the adoption of shared UI components, APIs, and design system capabilities.
Strengthen codebase health by advancing modernization efforts and promoting maintainable, scalable engineering practices.
What you will bring:
Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
Experience improving platform architecture, shared systems, and developer experience.
Strong ownership, with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and drive initiatives forward.
Sound engineering judgment and the ability to design solutions that scale with both product and organizational growth.
Ability to independently structure and deliver work, communicate assumptions clearly, and seek clarification to maintain alignment.
Commitment to software quality, including clean architecture, maintainable code, and consistent user experiences.
